Book list
Medical textbooks can be very expensive so get books out from the library before you consider buying them. There are however a few books which repeated come in handy; here is an Amazon.co.uk list of the books I found most useful during my first year:
Portfolio example
This is an example of a GP visit write up taken from my first year portfolio. For obvious reasons I have chosen a write up without any reflection on my own skills and learning but you might wish to write about these issues in your write ups. I have highlighted my reflective comments in italics to make it more evident to the reader where these comments are.
